AccuStaltic Multiple channel metering pumps

Accu-Staltic™ Flow Dividing Peristaltic Pumps

Flow dividing pumps are ideal for:

The top 3 questions asked about flow dividing pumps:

  • how accurate are they channel to channel?

flow dividing concept: 1 flow in, multiple outlet flows

Accu-Staltic™ peristaltic metering pumps, with their unique flow dividing manifold, take a single flow and create up to twelve metered output flows- precise, equal, & synchronized. You no longer have to worry about differences in backpressure, line length, release height- each channel always pumps the same volume!

Similar to squeeze pumps, Accu-Staltic pumps are specified when either higher accuracy or flow against backpressure are required. Due to their precise manufacture, the pump is the flowmeter- providing accurate multichannel metering performance over a wide flow range.

The Top 3 questions.... answered!

  • How many channels can I get? Accustaltic pumps are built as 4-12 channels. channels can always be removed with no loss of performance to suit your needs at the time. in certain cases, we can couple 2 pumps together to give you up to 24 channels from one motor.
  • How much differential pressure can there be between the channels? That will depend a lot on the tubing chosen. Some tubes, such as silicone and Norprene®, can only handle about 10 PSI differential pressure. Others such as Prothane® can handle pressures of 45 psi, 70 psi or even higher pressures. what happens is the tubing stretches, the walls thin out, and the pump loses occlusion (fluid can then flow backward). this will result in a non-uniform flow. Generally the softer and lower tensile strength the tubing has, the lower the pressure differential you will see.
  • How accurate are they channel to channel? we guarantee plus or minus 5% of the average flow rate of all the hoses. The range in accuracy mainly has to do with manufacturing variations in the tubing. Slight differences in wall thickness will affect the pump's accuracy. Often it is possible to achieve better accuracies by tubing choice, or operational limitations. call us for expert applications advice.
